OverviewMagi-Nation is a fantasy monster-battling RPG developed and published by Interactive Imagination for the Game Boy Color exclusively in North America on March 2001.
Based on the real-life collectible card game Magi-Nation Duel (which is also published by Interactive Imagination), Magi-Nation puts players as modern-day teenager Tony Jones, who is whisked into a fantasy world and must use the power of Dream Creatures to stop an army of Dark Magi and return home.It later received a Japanese-exclusive conversion for the Game Boy Advance, ported by Matahari Studios and published by Epoch on December 12, 2002. This version features a reworked protagonist (Dan).Some spin-offs and sequels were in development for both the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, but were scrapped during development. One of these games, Magi-Nation: Keeper's Quest, later had a leaked prototype.
