We are entering a new century full of doubts and some certainties.

The use of the Internet in all areas, including the videogame sector, was born, with the appearance of new consoles with the possibility of connecting to the Internet.

This led to online competitive gaming, the emergence of new game modes through the Internet, players from different parts of the world could compete with each other or play some games cooperatively.

Not all games implemented the so-called "online" most of the video games of this decade still based their essence on the campaign mode, however some games swept with the incorporation of online multiplayer.

World of Warcraft is its standard bearer, millions of players tried to raise their level by dedicating a huge amount of hours to the game.

Nintendo followed with a spectacular Super Mario Galaxy, a videogame that obtained a well-deserved rating of outstanding.
