Nintendo with Wii, then Switch, Sony with PS4 and then PS5, Microsoft and its Xbox.... and Microsoft again, although with PC as perhaps the best platform of all.
In this decade we enjoyed incredible titles, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild or Grand Theft Auto V, two great adventure sagas with a very different approach and each with a legion of followers.
Although these two titles were applauded by gamers around the world, for many the one that took the palm as the best video game of the decade was Super Mario Galaxy 2, a game of the reviled Nintendo Wii, a console that insisted on demonstrating that more power, better graphics and effects do not make you enjoy more.
At the end of the decade Red Dead Redemption 2 burst onto PC and consoles, a long-awaited second part of a saga of cowboy video games that began precisely at the beginning of the decade, although at that time relegated to being exclusive to Sony consoles.
In this decade is where, with the exception of Nintendo and its adorable characters, the exclusive sagas began to falter and the PC emerges stronger than ever as an intermediate platform, without fanboys who cling to a brand and also get thanks to the powerful graphics cards an image quality and effects superior to that of any console.
