A spin-off of the 2003 arcade game Toukon: Matrimelee, Bonnou Kaihou updates the game roster while adding new techniques (such as the return of the "transformation" system), a higher-quality soundtrack, a new story, and online multiplayer. It also features kickboxer (and TV personality) Bobby Ologun as the game's final boss.The story takes place after the events of Matrimelee.
