Kanon is an adult visual novel game that was released for the PC. An all ages version was released 8 months later and ported to the PS2 and Dreamcast and eventually the PSP. Themes of promises, miracles, music and amnesia play a roll in the story.
It was originally released as an eroge visual novel in 1999, with an all-ages visual novel following shortly afterwards.
