IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix
Based on the original animation, IGPX takes the concept of racing, fighting robots and brings it to the PS2
Toonami Connection The game, IGPX, is based off the titular animation that aired on Cartoon Network that premiered as part of the Toonami block in November 2005.
In 2003, a "pilot" of sorts aired as a weeklong event on Toonami, but had a much different concept: the Immortal Grand Prix was not a race, but a combat with mechas. To coincide with the weeklong event, viewers could visit the website and take part in a browser-based action game.
