ELDERBORN is a skill-based slasher infused with ancient heavy metal melee combat.
Overview The game features first-person perspective melee combat with various exotic weapons, three varied and extensive stages to explore and fight your way through, lore pickups, challenging enemies, and a souls-like progression system.
ELDERBORN features an all-original soundtrack blending heavy metal, electronica, and exotic, middle-eastern vibes. The soundtrack is available on Steam and included in the Steam "Metal AF" digital special edition, which also comes with a digital artbook.The game entered Early Access in October 2018 and emerged in its fully-matured form on Steam on January 30, 2020, to very favorable player reception.Following the full release, the game continues to be supported by Hyperstrange, receiving content updates including New Game+ and Permadeath mode in the first year after the premiere.PC-exclusive at launch, the game has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The console release date has not yet been disclosed.
