OverviewBilly the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing, also known by its pre-release name Barry Hatter: The Sorcerer's Broomstick, is a fantasy broomstick-flying game developed by Data Design Interactive and published by Metro3D for the PlayStation 2 and PC in Europe on January 27, 2006.
A spoof of the Harry Potter series, Billy the Wizard has players controlling one of several students of a fictional wizarding school as they partake in several activities outside the school by flying on their broomstick, including a racing tournament (Broomstick Grand Prix), a spellbook collect-a-thon (Spellbook Chaos!), and a battle against a dragon (Green Dragon Attack). It also supports multiplayer modes for up to four split-screen players.It later received a Wii release by Data Design Interactive on September 17, 2007, with a North American release by Conspiracy Entertainment on October 5, 2007. This version relies on motion controls.
