An arcade racing game released on the PS2 and arcade by Taito in Japan. The game allowed you to carry your save file from the console version to the arcade version and the reverse.

Battle Gear 3 contains many cars from multiple real life Japanese car manufacturers. Battle Gear 3 TunedOn December 15th, 2003 an updated version of the game was released titled Battle Gear 3 Tuned. This updated version used the Namco System 246 arcade hardware.The additions to this version of the game included 1 new game mode, new tracks, and new cars, including those that were added in the PS2 version of the game.
