Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z
One of the many ninja henchmen slain by Ryu Hayabusa is back for blood in this Ninja Gaiden spinoff. The project is directed by Keiji Inafune of Dead Rising fame, and jointly developed by Inafune's company Comcept, Team Ninja and Spark Unlimited.

It was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2012.The plot centers on a ninja named Yaiba, who is killed by Ryu Hayabusa. Yaiba is reanimated, and follows the footsteps of Hayabusa, who attempts to put a stop to a zombie outbreak, in a fictional Ukrainian city invaded by Russian troops. He slogs his way through scores of the undead to exact revenge on his killer.
