Nokia published a port of Xanadu Next for the N-Gage that was developed by ScriptArts and was released before the PC version for Western territories in June of 2005. An Italian group named I Figli di Gaucci created an unofficial English translation patch in 2011 for the PC version of Xanadu Next and years later the title was officially released in English by XSEED in 2016 using an edited version of the fan script.
