Torn
TORN was a 3D fantasy RPG using the SPECIAL system from Fallout, cancelled before release.
TORN was a role-playing game set in an original fantasy setting, using the rulesets developed for the first two Fallout games, such as the SPECIAL character creation system.
Developed by Black Isle Studios - who had previously developed Fallout and RPGs such as Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate - the game was planned to be fully 3D, using the Lithtech 3 engine originally used in No One Lives Forever. Players would control a character suffering from a powerful curse. The game was announced in March 2001 and originally scheduled for release before 2002, but was cancelled in July 2001.
