Star Wraith 3: Shadows of Orion
Star Wraith 3: Shadows of Orion is an independent game developed by Star Wraith 3d Games using Dark Basic Classic. It is a military space simulator with a dynamic campaign. It is available for free from www.starwraith.com along with many of the other games in the series.
Despite the fact that Star Wraith is an old game, it is a very good example of an independent game that can compete with main-stream offerings.
It is graphically superior to many other space simulators released since it came out, and also is run on a very capable graphics engine. As such, a low-end computer can play this game easily.
