Through the missions, your soldiers will become more experienced and can take items with them to following missions, allowing you to build up more powerfull and well-equipped forces by the end of war. Soldiers at War is a turn based strategy-shooter in the same vein as XCOM: UFO defense. Players start off each turn with a squad with a limited number of action points. These points can be used to move, shoot, or perform some other action.
