Samsara

Samsara is a puzzle game from New Zealand studio Marker in which players drop and rotate blocks to enable a trapped child to escape to the exit - its twist is that the world has two reflected dimensions, and blocks dropped in the upside-down realm appear in the world above.

Samsara VR won the SXSW Virtual Cinema Competition's Jury award, VR Experience Rome's Special Jury Prize, Red Sea International Film Festival's Immersive Silver Yusr, and People's Choice: Best Interactive Experience of FIVARS.
Samsara VR explores the concept of Embodied Cognition. In this experience, the audiences will be transformed into different beings' bodies and experience the world from entirely new perspectives. Samsara is a sci-fi story living experience. In this adventure, the human race completely destroys the Earth's environment in the near future. We have to abandon it and find a new home in space. After hundreds of years of space travel, we have re-engineered our DNA and artificially evolved into a new form. We jumped through the space singularity and found a new planet to settle down. Many years go by we suddenly realize that we didn't reach a new world but returned to Earth in another time as a different life form, and our ancestors now are predators to us. Several attempts are made to leave Earth which leads back to it. Then, we realize that time is an illusion; our past, present, and future are fused together.
