GameplayThe game consists of a series of puzzles that the player completes in order to progress. Each puzzle is a grid-based canvas that needs to filled in based on numbers attached to each column and row. The player has the option to either shade the area or mark it as an X, similarly to Minesweeper. When the puzzle is complete, it reveals a pixel art rendition of a Pokémon.Pokémon whose puzzles have been completed can be used to help solve later puzzles, via their special ability. The uses of these abilities include helping to fill in squares, correcting mistakes present on the board, and hinting the player as to possible next moves.The game operates on an energy meter, with energy depleting every time a square is filled in. Energy can be restored by either waiting or using a currency called Picrites.CurrencyThe game uses a currency called Picrites, which can be earned through daily in-game challenges or purchased using real money. Picrites let you fill your energy meter, upgrade your energy meter (increasing its maximum capacity), and unlock new areas.AbilitiesWhat ability a Pokémon has is determined primarily by it's elemental type, as listed below.
