The game was tweaked for German audiences to become Lothar Matthäus Super Soccer - named for the Bayern Munich midfielder and team captain of Germany's 1990 FIFA World Cup squad, which would win the trophy that year.
The game features multiple league clubs from England and all around Europe. It also features All-Star teams from England, France, Germany and Spain, as well as one that draws from all of Europe and a global All-Star team.
