Extreme Paintball, known in Europe simply as Gotcha!, is a first-person paintball game developed by Sixteen Tons Entertainment and published by Viva Media for the PC in North America on July 31, 2004. It received a European release by both Global Star Software and Gathering on March 18, 2005, and later received a Europe-exclusive Xbox release on April 15, 2005.Similar to the Extreme PaintBrawl series, Gotcha features a more arcade-style take on the shooting sport of paintball (including a health system and large arenas). The story involves "illegal duels" in a fictional underground tournament known as the International Marker Sports League Cup.It uses the Vision game engine, previously used for the studio's long-running Emergency series.
