Gazillionaire

In "The Game of Intergalactic Wheelin' and Dealin'," race across the galaxy to make a profit, build your trading empire, and become economically dominant.

OverviewGazillionaire, sometimes known as Gazillionaire Deluxe, is a comedic sci-fi turn-based economic trading game developed by LavaMind and published by Spectrum HoloByte for Windows PCs in 1994.
Set in the fantasy sci-fi galaxy of Gogg, Gazillionaire tasks players with navigating their spaceship from planet to planet, buying a variety of exotic cargo (from diapers, to lava lamps, to rare gems) at a low price and re-selling them at other planets for profit, with the objective being the first player to reach a very high net worth.Along with its bizarre cartoon artwork and lore, the game is known for its tutorial system, which limits several aspects of the game's complexity (including loans, taxes, insurance, ownership of warehouses, and maintenance of the ship's crew and fuel) and allows players to add a new complex feature to the game between turns. It later received two successors, with the 1997 game Zapitalism and the 1998 game Profitania. All three of these games later received updated digital re-releases from LavaMind via Steam for both PC and Mac in 2020, with Gazillionaire released on January 14, 2020.
