Unlike full theme park management sims like Dino Park Tycoon and the later Theme Park, Coaster is not about running an amuesement park but rather simply focuses on building roller coasters. The game part comes in a team of riders who will ride and review a coaster once it's complete. Like several games of this ilk roller coasters can be ridden using a first person perspective.
