OverviewBS Tantei Club: Yuki ni Kieta Kako (BS探偵倶楽部 雪に消えた過去) is the third installment in the Famicom Detective Club series which was broadcasted in three parts through the Super Nintendo's Satellaview peripheral from February 9th to the 23rd in 1997.
StoryThe title stars series heroine Ayumi Tachibana as she visits her old hometown of Ojidani Village for the Winter holidays. Ayumi is reunited with her old friend Reiko, who is also visiting from Tokyo, and spends time with her mother, Toshie, who has been recovering from an illness. However, during Ayumi's visit, the former mayor of the village, Gozo Kusano, is found dead in his home and Toshie was the first to discover his body. All the evidence points to Ayumi's mother being the killer so it is up to Ayumi to prove her innocence. To do this she'll need to unravel the mystery surrounding a related murder from 18 years ago, a old local legend about a fallen warrior, and the long-standing feud between the Tachibana and Kusano families.
