Early 2015 this small studio embarked on the journey to create their dream game. Releasing their first Pre-Alpha demo in Q3 of the same year they started gathering a following.Multithreaded continued to update the game and release new demos throughout 2016. Come April of 2017 they were announced on Steam Greenlight. GameplayBevontule: Alter of Roots is a modern take on the classic RPG genre. The game play is reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics mixed with Star Ocean. Combat is a turn-based tactics system with the added bonus of free-roaming while you are loading up your skills. This allows players to view the conditions while moving about the battlefield. Bevontule also contains a "Skill Chain" system where if players time their attacks correctly they can tack on extra damage. CharactersBodomBio: A mysterious character with a covered face. The other party members distrust him as he is very equivocating. Somehow he has a vast knowledge of the Kelvari.Party Role: AssassinStarting Skill: Slash MorochBio: A clever alchemist with a taste for martial arts. Always seeking answers Moroch is constantly researching and practicing. This inquisitive nature makes him a little unwary of Bodom's intentions.Party Role: SupportStarting Skill: Gut Punch ApolithBio: A fiercely loyal elite solider and tactician. Apolith thinks on his feet and knocks anything down that gets in his way.Party Role: TankStarting Skill: Taunt
