Battle Arena Nitoshinden

A Japanese-exclusive super-deformed spin-off of the Battle Arena Toshinden series of 3D fighting games.

Overview Battle Arena Nitōshinden is a 3D comedic fighting game developed by Japan Vistec and published by Takara for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on September 20, 1996.
A spin-off of the Battle Arena Toshinden series of weapon-based fighting games, Nitōshinden features super-deformed fighters who fight in a comical manner (similar to Virtua Fighter Kids and Sonic Championship), most of which take place in a school setting. While it is based on the mainline games, it features much reduced movesets for each of the playable fighters, with only three basic attacks (hard, medium, light), an unblockable low attack, a special attack, and a limited-use desperation attack. It does not include a traditional combo system, but most attacks can cancel into other attacks.CharactersNew AdditionsRyuji - The "Silent Storm".
