In the years from 2010 to 2019 we have a decade of contrasts, on the one hand we have characters like little Atreus, a realistic, dramatic and unexpected character for a saga that so far had had a very high level of violence, God of War and at the other extreme pixelated and feminized characters like Madeline of the great platformer Celeste.
Between both styles will emerge a multitude of new characters, some mature, interesting, moving away from the prototype of the young superhero, like Sam Porter from the game Death Stranding or Joel Miller the main actor of what for many is considered the best game in history, The Las of Us.
And certainly no one who has played the second part of Read Dead Redeption can forget John Marston, or Aloy from the Horizon Zero Dawn saga.
Some characters from the great MMOs also arrived, such as Tracer from Overwatch, a decade where characters are taken more seriously than ever.
