Sledgehammer Games is a California-based studio owned by Activision. Glen A. Schofield and Michael Condrey, both formerly of Visceral Games, are heading the company.
The last release they worked on was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The developer was originally brought in to work on a third person, action adventure Call of Duty game. A prototype had been developed before the project was cancelled and resources moved to helping finish the latest Modern Warfare game.
