SimTex (SimulationTexas) is an US-American game developer
The SimTex company only released a handful of games, the majority of which are top-down, turn-based strategy games similar to Sid Meier's Civilization (both in gameplay and visuals), albeit with a different setting. Master of Magic is set in a generic fantasy world, while the Master of Orion series is set in space. The company was founded in 1988 by Steve Barcia and stayed in business for almost ten years before it went defunct in 1997.
