Renegade Software
Renegade software was a software publisher active in the years 1991 to 1998
When The Bitmap Brothers' publishing contract with Mirrorsoft came to an end, they opted for an unusual alternative for the times, founding their own publishing company. Apart from their own range of games, Renegade Software also published games by other developers. In 1998, Renegade Software has ceased to exist when it was incorporated into Time Warner. Some of their titles have been released as budget titles and retro issues since. Notable releases by Renegade Software are The Chaos Engine series, Sensible Software and Magic Pockets.
