Kalypso is a publishing company founded in 2006 by both Simon Hellwig and Stefan Marcinek, which is based in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States.
History
The company was founded in 2006 by Simon Hellwig and Stefan Marcinek. It has published multiple high profile games such as the European version of Sins of a Solar Empire and the popular genre defining, Tropico franchise.
Since then it has expanded it's roots to Great Britain (Kalypso Media UK Ltd. in Bracknell) and the United Sates (Kalypso Media USA Inc. in Baltimore).
Kalypso also an online distribution service that is organized by the Kalypso Media Digital Ltd in UK, Bracknell. Kalypso also owns the majority of two developments studios (Realmforge Studios GmbH & Gaming Minds Studios GmbH) in their Germany studio.
