Overview
Kadokawa Games Limited was formed in 2009 as a subsidiary of Kadokawa Group, a print publishing company and is headed by former Tecmo CEO Yoshimi Yasuda. Working in collaboration with Kadokawa Shoten, Enterbrain and Ascii Media Works, they develop and release a variety of games mostly on handhelds including the PSP, Nintendo DS and 3DS. As of May 2011, upcoming titles include Rodea the Sky Soldier(Wii/3DS), a flying/action game from Yuji Naka, and FISH ON, a 3D bass fishing game for the 3DS. KG is probably best known in the west for being the Japanese publisher of Grasshopper Manufacture's Lollipop Chainsaw, which was distributed in North America by WB Games.
