An independent game developer, known mainly for the MMORPG Pirate of the Burning Sea.
Founded in Seattle, Washington in 1997, Flying Lab Software (FLS)'s first major release was Rails Across America, a railroad sim published by Strategy First in 2001. In 2008, their current focus, the pirate-themed MMORPG Pirates of the Burning Sea, was published by Sony Online Entertainment. As of 2010, they have founded a casual MMO gaming branch, and continue to develop Pirates of the Burning Sea.
